Planning achieved at Dalston

July 14, 2025

This project represents T2S' core values:

Retaining / extension existing buildings.

Increasing density in urban areas.

Create 7 new homes which promote the use of public transport.

The key brief from the client prioritise the separation the ground floor commercial space which is now letted by William Hill.

The existing building was tired and out of sync with the wider terrace, based upon the fact that the site had been bombed in WW2 and replaced with a 1960's structure.

Our design is split into two facets. At the front, the new facade is it reinstate the historic grandeur of the wider terrace. This represents a formal, vertical language.

At the rear, a modern form is created which follows completely different Architectural principles using an informal language.

Construction will begin in September, with completion due in September 2026.
