The building is situated near the centre of Sidcup, an area in South-East London within the London Borough of Bexley. The proposal provides 3 residential units across 2 floors, with private and communal amenity spaces.

The form is derived by working backwards from the site footprint, to create a sculptured form which reacts naturally to its surroundings. To avoid potential overlooking from neighbouring buildings, the proposal is set back at first floor in a mansard roof, which also creates more architectural interest.

Our preferred material palette takes notes from the local industrial vernacular that can be seen in local subservient forms to the High Street frontage.

We think the CGI’s really sell the proposals from an Architectural perspective.
